सांप्रतं वद कामस्य यथा कुष्ठोऽभवत्पुरा । येन दोषेण शापश्च केन तस्य नियोजितः

sāṃprataṃ vada kāmasya yathā kuṣṭho'bhavatpurā | yena doṣeṇa śāpaśca kena tasya niyojitaḥ

ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളോട് പറയുക—പൂർവകാലത്ത് കാമദേവന്‍ എങ്ങനെ കുഷ്ഠരോഗം ബാധിച്ചു? ഏതു ദോഷം മൂലം അവന് ശാപം ലഭിച്ചു, ആ ശാപം ആരാണ് ഏല്പിച്ചത്?
