एवं वर्षसहस्रांतं तत्तथैव व्यवस्थितम् । न मुंचंति भयात्ते तु न हंतुं शक्नुवंति च
evaṃ varṣasahasrāṃtaṃ tattathaiva vyavasthitam | na muṃcaṃti bhayātte tu na haṃtuṃ śaknuvaṃti ca
ഇങ്ങനെ അത് അതേ നിലയിൽ ആയിരം വർഷം നിലനിന്നു. ഭയത്താൽ അവർ അതിനെ വിട്ടയക്കാനും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; വധിക്കാനും സാധിച്ചില്ല।
