महद्भूतानि चैतानि पञ्च देवी यतव्रता । ततः संपूजयामास पुष्पधूपानुलेपनैः
mahadbhūtāni caitāni pañca devī yatavratā | tataḥ saṃpūjayāmāsa puṣpadhūpānulepanaiḥ
ഇവയാണ് പഞ്ച മഹാഭൂതങ്ങൾ; വ്രതനിഷ്ഠയായ ദേവി പിന്നെ പുഷ്പം, ധൂപം, സുഗന്ധാനുലേപനം എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് അവയെ സമ്യകമായി സമ്പൂർണ്ണമായി പൂജിച്ചു.
