याज्ञवल्क्य वरं ब्रूहि यत्ते मनसि रोचते । सर्वमेव प्रदास्यामि नादेयं विद्यते त्वयि
yājñavalkya varaṃ brūhi yatte manasi rocate | sarvameva pradāsyāmi nādeyaṃ vidyate tvayi
യാജ്ഞവൽക്ക്യാ! നിന്റെ മനസ്സിന് ഇഷ്ടമായ വരം പറയുക. ഞാൻ എല്ലാം നൽകും; നിനക്കു അദേയമെന്നു ഒന്നുമില്ല.
