अथ ते ब्राह्मणाः सर्वे यथाज्येष्ठं यथासुखम् । उपविष्टा नरेंद्रस्य चतुर्दिक्षु सुविस्मिताः । पप्रच्छुस्तं च भूपालं वार्तां ब्रह्मगृहोद्भवाम्
atha te brāhmaṇāḥ sarve yathājyeṣṭhaṃ yathāsukham | upaviṣṭā nareṃdrasya caturdikṣu suvismitāḥ | papracchustaṃ ca bhūpālaṃ vārtāṃ brahmagṛhodbhavām
അപ്പോൾ ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണർ എല്ലാവരും ജ്യേഷ്ഠതയും സൗകര്യവും അനുസരിച്ച്, അത്യന്തം വിസ്മയത്തോടെ, രാജാവിനെ ചുറ്റി നാലുദിക്കുകളിലായി ഇരുന്നു. പിന്നെ അവർ ആ ഭൂപാലനോട് ബ്രഹ്മന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന വാർത്തയെക്കുറിച്ച് ചോദിച്ചു.
