लोहजंघ उवाच । किमर्थं न गता यूयं मया मुक्ता द्विजोत्तमाः । नाहं किंचिद्ग्रहीष्यामि युष्मदीयं कथंचन । कुटुंबार्थं यतस्तस्माद्व्रजध्वं स्वेच्छयाऽधुना
lohajaṃgha uvāca | kimarthaṃ na gatā yūyaṃ mayā muktā dvijottamāḥ | nāhaṃ kiṃcidgrahīṣyāmi yuṣmadīyaṃ kathaṃcana | kuṭuṃbārthaṃ yatastasmādvrajadhvaṃ svecchayā'dhunā
ലോഹജംഘൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമന്മാരേ! ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടയച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് പോയില്ല? നിങ്ങളുടെതായ ഒന്നും ഞാൻ യാതൊരു വിധത്തിലും സ്വീകരിക്കുകയില്ല. അത് നിങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബാർത്ഥമാണല്ലോ; അതിനാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളപോലെ പോകുവിൻ।
