ततः स कष्टमापन्नो लोहजंघो द्विजोत्तमाः । न प्राप्नोति क्वचिद्भिक्षां न च किंचित्प्रतिग्रहम्
tataḥ sa kaṣṭamāpanno lohajaṃgho dvijottamāḥ | na prāpnoti kvacidbhikṣāṃ na ca kiṃcitpratigraham
അപ്പോൾ ലോഹജംഘൻ എന്ന ദ്വിജോത്തമൻ മഹാകഷ്ടത്തിലായി; എവിടെയും ഭിക്ഷ ലഭിച്ചില്ല, യാതൊരു ദാനപ്രതിഗ്രഹവും കിട്ടിയില്ല।
