kṛṣṇadravyāṇi bhūrīṇi keśādīni sahasraśaḥ | sarvaṃ tacchuklatāṃ yāti tyaktvā varṇaṃ malīmasam

Translation

ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് കറുത്ത വസ്തുക്കൾ—മുടി മുതലായവ—അവിടെ വെളുത്തതായി മാറി; മലിനമായ കറുത്ത വർണ്ണം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് എല്ലാം ശുദ്ധ ശ്വേതത കൈവരിച്ചു.
