यतः प्रभृति तस्याः स गर्भोऽभूदुदराश्रयः । ततः प्रभृति राष्ट्रस्य क्षेमं जातं तथा पुरे । एके संख्ये जिता स्तेन शत्रवोऽपि सुदुर्जयाः । निहताश्च तथैवान्ये मित्रभावं समाश्रिताः
yataḥ prabhṛti tasyāḥ sa garbho'bhūdudarāśrayaḥ | tataḥ prabhṛti rāṣṭrasya kṣemaṃ jātaṃ tathā pure | eke saṃkhye jitā stena śatravo'pi sudurjayāḥ | nihatāśca tathaivānye mitrabhāvaṃ samāśritāḥ
ആ ഗർഭം അവളുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ച നിമിഷം മുതൽ തന്നെ രാജ്യത്തും നഗരത്തും ക്ഷേമം പിറന്നു. ചില ശത്രുക്കൾ—അത്യന്തം ദുർജയരായിരുന്നാലും—യുദ്ധത്തിൽ തോറ്റു; ചിലർ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ചിലർ മിത്രഭാവം സ്വീകരിച്ചു.
