अथ तस्यास्तनुं प्राप्य नागीदंष्ट्रा विषोल्बणा । जगाम शतधा नाशं बिभिदे न त्वचं क्वचित्
atha tasyāstanuṃ prāpya nāgīdaṃṣṭrā viṣolbaṇā | jagāma śatadhā nāśaṃ bibhide na tvacaṃ kvacit
എന്നാൽ ആ സ്ത്രീയുടെ ശരീരത്തിൽ സ്പർശിച്ചപ്പോൾ, വിഷം നിറഞ്ഞ ആ നാഗത്തിൻ്റെ പല്ലുകൾ നൂറു കഷ്ണങ്ങളായി തകർന്നു, എങ്കിലും അവളുടെ ചർമ്മത്തിന് ഒരു പോറലും ഏൽപ്പിച്ചില്ല.
