एतेषामेव सर्वेषां सत्काराय द्विजोतमाः । चत्वारिंशत्तथाष्टौ च पुरा प्रोक्ताः स्वयंभुवा
eteṣāmeva sarveṣāṃ satkārāya dvijotamāḥ | catvāriṃśattathāṣṭau ca purā proktāḥ svayaṃbhuvā
ഇവരെയെല്ലാം സത്കരിക്കുന്നതിനായി, ഹേ ദ്വിജോത്തമാ, പുരാതനകാലത്ത് സ്വയംഭൂ (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) നാല്പത്തെട്ട് പേരെ നിയമിച്ച് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു.
