एवमुक्त्वाऽथ विप्रः स त्रिजातः परमेश्वरम् । प्रार्थयामास मे देव तं वरं यच्छ सांप्रतम्
evamuktvā'tha vipraḥ sa trijātaḥ parameśvaram | prārthayāmāsa me deva taṃ varaṃ yaccha sāṃpratam
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് ത്രിജാതനായ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ പരമേശ്വരനോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു— “എൻ ദേവാ, ആ വരം ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ നൽകണമേ।”
