शृण्वंतु ब्राह्मणाः सर्वे वचनं मम सांप्रतम् । मया विनिर्गतेनैव तत्पुरात्तोषितो हरः
śṛṇvaṃtu brāhmaṇāḥ sarve vacanaṃ mama sāṃpratam | mayā vinirgatenaiva tatpurāttoṣito haraḥ
“എല്ലാ ബ്രാഹ്മണരും ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ വാക്ക് കേൾക്കുക. ഞാൻ ആ നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടതുമാത്രം കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ദേവൻ ഹരൻ (ശിവൻ) പ്രസന്നനായി.”
