ततस्तुष्टो महादेवस्तस्य कालेन केन चित् । प्रोवाच दर्शनं गत्वा तं च शंखमुनीश्वरम्
tatastuṣṭo mahādevastasya kālena kena cit | provāca darśanaṃ gatvā taṃ ca śaṃkhamunīśvaram
പിന്നീട് കുറെ കാലത്തിന് ശേഷം മഹാദേവൻ അവനിൽ പ്രസന്നനായി; അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു ദർശനം നൽകി, ആ മുനീശ്വരനായ ശംഖനോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു।
