ete śakrādayo devāsteṣu tīrtheṣu sundari | māṃ pūjya tridivaṃ prāptāstathānye nāradādayaḥ
Śiva (deduced)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed as ‘sundarī’)
Scene: A celestial assembly at a riverside/ghāṭa: Indra with vajra, other devas, and Nārada with vīṇā offering flowers and lamps to the presiding deity; a luminous path rising to svarga in the background.
Even the devas honor tīrthas and worship the Supreme there; sacred places are presented as proven pathways to exalted states.
The verse refers collectively to the tīrthas about to be enumerated; it validates them through divine exemplars (Indra, Nārada).
Pūjā (worship) of the speaker-deity at the tīrthas as a means to attain heavenly merit (tridiva).
