Citraśarman (continuing)
Tirtha: Hāṭakeśvara
Type: kshetra
Scene: A glowing liṅga in an underworld cavern, set upon a pedestal, with Brahmā’s earlier consecration implied via lotus and four-faced iconography; Citraśarman invokes it to come swiftly to the surface realm.
The sanctity of a liṅga is tied to divine and cosmic lineage (Brahmā’s installation) and to the devotee’s intent to bring that sanctity into the human realm.
Hāṭakeśvara is explicitly named; the verse supports the origin-glory of the Hāṭakeśvara shrine/tīrtha in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa.
It implies the transfer/manifestation and subsequent installation of the Hāṭakeśvara liṅga at the local sacred site.
