शप्ताः सर्वे वयं तावत्प्रसादं कुरु तद्विभो । ते तेनाथ ततः प्रोक्ता नाहं वो राक्षसाधमाः
śaptāḥ sarve vayaṃ tāvatprasādaṃ kuru tadvibho | te tenātha tataḥ proktā nāhaṃ vo rākṣasādhamāḥ
‘ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിനാൽ ഹേ വിഭോ, പ്രസാദം ചെയ്ത് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കണമേ.’ അപ്പോൾ അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—‘ഹേ അധമരാക്ഷസരേ! ഈ അനുഗ്രഹം നൽകുന്നത് ഞാൻ അല്ല.’
