सूत उवाच । तेषां पूजाकृते रौद्रा राक्षसा बलवत्तराः । लंकापुर्याः समायांति सदैव शतशः पुरा
sūta uvāca | teṣāṃ pūjākṛte raudrā rākṣasā balavattarāḥ | laṃkāpuryāḥ samāyāṃti sadaiva śataśaḥ purā
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവയുടെ പൂജയ്ക്കായി പുരാതനകാലത്ത് ലങ്കാപുരിയിൽ നിന്ന് ക്രൂരരും അത്യന്തം ബലവാന്മാരുമായ രാക്ഷസർ എപ്പോഴും നൂറുകണക്കിന് വരികയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു।
