अहं शिक्षापणार्थाय तव प्राप्तो विभीषण । तस्मादव्यग्रचित्तेन संशृणुष्व कुरुष्व च
ahaṃ śikṣāpaṇārthāya tava prāpto vibhīṣaṇa | tasmādavyagracittena saṃśṛṇuṣva kuruṣva ca
വിഭീഷണാ, ഉപദേശം നൽകാനാണ് ഞാൻ നിന്നരികെ വന്നത്; അതിനാൽ അവ്യഗ്രചിത്തത്തോടെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേൾക്കുകയും അതുപോലെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക।
