तदा सुरासुराः सर्वे ममंथुः क्षीरसागरम् । एकीभूत्वा बलेनैवमतिमात्रं बलोत्कटाः
tadā surāsurāḥ sarve mamaṃthuḥ kṣīrasāgaram | ekībhūtvā balenaivamatimātraṃ balotkaṭāḥ
അപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ ദേവാസുരരും ഒന്നിച്ചു ക്ഷീരസാഗരം മഥിച്ചു; ബലത്താൽ ഏകീഭവിച്ച് അവർ അത്യന്തം ശക്തരായി പരിശ്രമിച്ചു।
