अजेयो हि महाञ्जातो रावणो लोकरावणः । सृष्ट्यंतरं कृतं येन प्रसादाच्छंकरस्य च

Transliteration

ajeyo hi mahāñjāto rāvaṇo lokarāvaṇaḥ | sṛṣṭyaṃtaraṃ kṛtaṃ yena prasādācchaṃkarasya ca

Translation

നിശ്ചയമായും രാവണൻ—‘ലോകഭയങ്കരൻ’—മഹാബലവാനായി അജേയനായി ജനിച്ചു; ശങ്കരന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ സൃഷ്ടിവ്യവസ്ഥയിൽ പോലും മാറ്റം വരുത്തി.
