चिंतायुक्तोऽभवन्नंदी जातं किं छिद्रमद्य मे । कथितानि च विघ्नानि शिवपूजारतस्य च । उपस्थितानि तान्येव मम भाग्यविपर्ययात्
ciṃtāyukto'bhavannaṃdī jātaṃ kiṃ chidramadya me | kathitāni ca vighnāni śivapūjāratasya ca | upasthitāni tānyeva mama bhāgyaviparyayāt
നന്ദി ആശങ്കയിൽ മുങ്ങി—‘ഇന്ന് എനിക്കെന്ത് പിഴവ് സംഭവിച്ചു? ശിവപൂജയിൽ രതനായവന് പറയപ്പെട്ട വിഘ്നങ്ങൾ, എന്റെ ദുർഭാഗ്യത്താൽ അവ തന്നെയാണു വന്നത്.’
