तारकं च वधिष्यामि पश्य मेऽद्य पराक्रमम् । आनयंति च ये वीराः स्वामिनं रणसंसदि । ते पापिनो ह्यधर्मिष्ठा विमृशंतिरणं गताः
tārakaṃ ca vadhiṣyāmi paśya me'dya parākramam | ānayaṃti ca ye vīrāḥ svāminaṃ raṇasaṃsadi | te pāpino hyadharmiṣṭhā vimṛśaṃtiraṇaṃ gatāḥ
ഞാൻ താരകനെ വധിക്കും, ഇന്ന് എന്റെ പരാക്രമം കാണുക. തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വാമിയെ യുദ്ധസഭയിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന വീരന്മാർ പാപികളും അധർമ്മികളുമാണ്; അവർ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച ശേഷവും ആലോചിക്കുന്നു.
