प्रहस्य भगवान्प्राह नारदं प्रति वै तदा । कथमुद्वहने बुद्धिरुत्पन्ना तस्य शूलिनः । विज्ञातार्थोऽपि भगवान्नारदं परिपृष्टवान्
prahasya bhagavānprāha nāradaṃ prati vai tadā | kathamudvahane buddhirutpannā tasya śūlinaḥ | vijñātārtho'pi bhagavānnāradaṃ paripṛṣṭavān
പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ ഭഗവാൻ അപ്പോൾ നാരദനോടു പറഞ്ഞു— “ആ ത്രിശൂലധാരിയായ ശിവനിൽ വിവാഹചിന്ത എങ്ങനെ ഉദിച്ചു?” കാര്യം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഭഗവാൻ നാരദനെ വീണ്ടും ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു।
