देवा ऊचूः । बलिना सह पातालमास्तेऽसौ मधुसूदनः । विष्णुं विना हि ते सर्वे वृषाद्याः पतिताः परैः
devā ūcūḥ | balinā saha pātālamāste'sau madhusūdanaḥ | viṣṇuṃ vinā hi te sarve vṛṣādyāḥ patitāḥ paraiḥ
ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—“മധുസൂദനനായ വിഷ്ണു ബലിയോടുകൂടെ പാതാളത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു. വിഷ്ണുവില്ലാതെ ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും—വൃഷ മുതലായവർ—ശത്രുക്കളാൽ വീഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടു.”
