mucukundabalenaiva jayamāpuḥsurāstadā | kiṃ kartavyaṃ hi cāsmākaṃ yudhyamānairniraṃtaram

മുചുകുന്ദന്റെ ബലത്താൽ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു അന്ന് ദേവന്മാർക്ക് വിജയം; എന്നാൽ നാം ഇടവിടാതെ യുദ്ധം തുടരുകയാണെങ്കിൽ ഇനി ഞങ്ങളുടെ കര്‍ത്തവ്യം എന്ത്?
