ततोहमब्रवं कस्माददोषं मां भवानिति । शपते भवता दत्ता मम वाचा पुरा सुता
tatohamabravaṃ kasmādadoṣaṃ māṃ bhavāniti | śapate bhavatā dattā mama vācā purā sutā
അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഞാൻ നിർദോഷൻ; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്ക് എന്തിന് ശാപം നൽകുന്നു? മുൻപ് നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രി എനിക്ക് നൽകാമെന്ന് വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിരുന്നല്ലോ.”
