Transliteration

iti śaptaḥ praṇmyainaṃ pādopagrahapūrvakam | hāheti ca bruvangāḍhaṃ sāśrunetraṃ sagadgadam

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ ആദ്യം പാദങ്ങൾ പിടിച്ച് നമസ്കരിച്ചു; ‘ഹാ! ഹാ!’ എന്നു വിലപിച്ച് അത്യന്തം വ്യാകുലനായി സംസാരിച്ചു—കണ്ണുകളിൽ കണ്ണീർ, കണ്ഠം ഗദ്ഗദം.
