Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 53
अर्वाक्छिलाक्रमणतो निष्ठा स्यात्सप्तमे पदे । इति व्यवस्य प्रददावन्यस्मै तां द्विजः सुताम्
arvākchilākramaṇato niṣṭhā syātsaptame pade | iti vyavasya pradadāvanyasmai tāṃ dvijaḥ sutām
അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ തീരുമാനിച്ചു— “ശിലാക്രമണത്തിന് മുമ്പ്; കാരണം ഏഴാം പടിയിലാണ് ബന്ധം ദൃഢമാകുന്നത്.” എന്ന് നിശ്ചയിച്ച് ആ ദ്വിജൻ മകളെ മറ്റൊരാൾക്കു നൽകി.
