इत्थं पुरा बकाभिख्यं बकवृत्तिमुपाश्रितम् । तदाऽर्जवे कृतमतिरनुजग्राह मां मुनिः
itthaṃ purā bakābhikhyaṃ bakavṛttimupāśritam | tadā'rjave kṛtamatiranujagrāha māṃ muniḥ
ഇങ്ങനെ പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് ‘ബക’ എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെട്ട ഞാൻ, കൊക്കിന്റെ വൃത്തിയിലായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ എന്റെ മനസ്സ് നേരായ സത്യത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മുനി എന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
