त्वं देवि चावतारेषु विष्णोः साहाय्यकारिणी । विष्णुनाभ्यर्थ्यसे तस्मात्त्राहि मातर्नमोऽस्तु ते
tvaṃ devi cāvatāreṣu viṣṇoḥ sāhāyyakāriṇī | viṣṇunābhyarthyase tasmāttrāhi mātarnamo'stu te
ഹേ ദേവീ! വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ അവതാരങ്ങളിൽ നീ സഹായകശക്തിയായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് വിഷ്ണുവും നിന്നെ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അതിനാൽ ഹേ മാതാവേ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ—നിനക്കു നമസ്കാരം.
