भीम उवाच । अहमप्यंग जानामि समो देव्या न कश्चन । प्रभावप्रत्ययार्थं हि सदा निन्दामि तां पुनः
bhīma uvāca | ahamapyaṃga jānāmi samo devyā na kaścana | prabhāvapratyayārthaṃ hi sadā nindāmi tāṃ punaḥ
ഭീമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സുഹൃത്തേ, ദേവിക്ക് സമൻ ആരുമില്ലെന്ന് ഞാനും അറിയുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ പ്രഭാവം പരീക്ഷിച്ച് തെളിയിക്കാനായി ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും അവളെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു।
