श्रूयते येन विक्रम्य महेशानोऽपि निर्जितः । स्वर्लोकसंस्थितस्यास्य शरणं याहि स्तौषि च
śrūyate yena vikramya maheśāno'pi nirjitaḥ | svarlokasaṃsthitasyāsya śaraṇaṃ yāhi stauṣi ca
അവന്റെ മഹാവിക്രമത്താൽ മഹേശാനൻ (ശിവൻ) പോലും ജയിക്കപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന് കേൾക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് സ്വർഗ്ഗലോകത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന ആ പ്രഭുവിന്റെ ശരണം പ്രാപിച്ച് ഭക്തിയോടെ സ്തുതിക്കു.
