मातृलाभे सनाथत्वमनाथत्वं विपर्यये । न स शोचति नाप्येनं स्थावर्यमपि कर्षति

mātṛlābhe sanāthatvamanāthatvaṃ viparyaye | na sa śocati nāpyenaṃ sthāvaryamapi karṣati

മാതാവ് ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ മനുഷ്യൻ സനാഥനാകുന്നു; മാതൃവിയോഗത്തിൽ അവൻ സത്യമായും അനാഥനാകുന്നു. മാതാവ് കൂടെയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവൻ ദുഃഖിക്കുകയില്ല; ദുരിതവും അവനെ എളുപ്പത്തിൽ വലിച്ചിഴക്കുകയുമില്ല.
