kathanaṃ satyamityuktaṃ parapīḍāvivarjitam | anādānaṃ parasvānāmāpadyapi kathaṃcana

മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കു പീഡയുണ്ടാക്കാതെ യഥാർത്ഥം പറയുന്നതാണ് ‘സത്യം’. ‘അസ്തേയം’ എന്നാൽ ആപത്തിൽ പോലും ഒരിക്കലും മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ ധനം എടുക്കാതിരിക്കുക.
