तत्पुण्यं लभते मर्त्यो नात्र कार्या विचारणा । कन्यागते सवितरि यः श्राद्धं कुरुते नरः
tatpuṇyaṃ labhate martyo nātra kāryā vicāraṇā | kanyāgate savitari yaḥ śrāddhaṃ kurute naraḥ
അതേ പുണ്യം മർത്ത്യൻ നേടുന്നു; ഇവിടെ സംശയം വേണ്ട. സൂര്യൻ കന്നിരാശിയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചപ്പോൾ ആരെങ്കിലും ശ്രാദ്ധം ചെയ്താൽ അവന് മഹാഫലം ലഭിക്കും.
