Transliteration

yena vidyāḥ prapaṭhitā vartaṃte bhuvi yā dvija | ekatriṃśatsahasrāṇi varṣāṇāṃ sa kṛtādaraḥ

Translation

ഹേ ദ്വിജാ, ഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രചാരത്തിലുള്ള എല്ലാ വിദ്യകളും അദ്ദേഹം സമ്യകമായി പഠിച്ചു. അത്യന്തം ആദരഭാവത്തോടെ മുപ്പത്തൊന്ന് ആയിരം വർഷം അവയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം ലീനനായിരുന്നു.
