भूराप्ता गौस्तथा भोगाः सुवर्णं देहमेव च । अश्वश्चक्षुस्तथा वासो घृतं तेजस्तिलाः प्रजाः
bhūrāptā gaustathā bhogāḥ suvarṇaṃ dehameva ca | aśvaścakṣustathā vāso ghṛtaṃ tejastilāḥ prajāḥ
ഭൂമി, ജലം, പശുക്കൾ, ഭോഗങ്ങൾ, സ്വർണം, സ്വന്തം ദേഹം പോലും; കുതിര, ദൃഷ്ടി, വസ്ത്രം, നെയ്യ്, തേജസ്, എള്ള്, സന്തതി—കുപ്രതിഗ്രഹവും കുദാനവും ഇവയെല്ലാം ഹാനിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു।
