स लोभः सह मोहेन विजेतव्यो जितात्मना । दम्भो द्रोहश्च निंदा च पैशुन्यं मत्सरस्तथा
sa lobhaḥ saha mohena vijetavyo jitātmanā | dambho drohaśca niṃdā ca paiśunyaṃ matsarastathā
ആ ലോഭം—മോഹത്തോടുകൂടിയത്—ജിതാത്മാവ് നിർബന്ധമായി ജയിക്കണം. അതിൽ നിന്ന് ദംഭം, ദ്രോഹം, നിന്ദ, പൈശുന്യം, മത്സരവും ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നു.
