प्रसादयंति तां देवीं नानावेषैः सुदीनवत् । केचिद्ब्राह्मणवेषैश्च तापसानां तथो क्तिभिः
prasādayaṃti tāṃ devīṃ nānāveṣaiḥ sudīnavat | kecidbrāhmaṇaveṣaiśca tāpasānāṃ tatho ktibhiḥ
അത്യന്തം ദീനരായി അവർ പല വേഷങ്ങൾ ധരിച്ചു ദേവിയെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു—ചിലർ ബ്രാഹ്മണവേഷത്തിൽ, ചിലർ തപസ്വികളുടെ വാക്കും ആചാരവും പോലെ.
