सीतापहारमापेदे रामोऽन्यो मुच्यते कथम् । ब्रह्मापि शिरसश्छेदं कामयित्वा सुतामगात्
sītāpahāramāpede rāmo'nyo mucyate katham | brahmāpi śirasaśchedaṃ kāmayitvā sutāmagāt
സീതാപഹരണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ക്ലേശം രാമനും അനുഭവിച്ചു; പിന്നെ മറ്റൊരാൾ എങ്ങനെ മോചിതനാകും? ബ്രഹ്മാവും ശിരഛേദം ആഗ്രഹിച്ച് സ്വന്തം പുത്രിയെ പിന്തുടർന്നു.
