बाल उवाच । सम्यगेतद्यथा पृष्टं यत्र मुह्यंति जंतवः । श्रृण्वेकाग्रमना भूत्वा ज्ञातं द्वैपायनान्मया
bāla uvāca | samyagetadyathā pṛṣṭaṃ yatra muhyaṃti jaṃtavaḥ | śrṛṇvekāgramanā bhūtvā jñātaṃ dvaipāyanānmayā
ബാലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നീ ശരിയായിട്ടാണ് ചോദിച്ചത്; ഇതിലാണു ജീവികൾ മോഹിതരാകുന്നത്. ഏകാഗ്രമനസ്സോടെ കേൾക്കുക; ഇത് ഞാൻ ദ്വൈപായനൻ (വ്യാസൻ) നിന്നു അറിഞ്ഞതാണ്.
