सममेति विवक्षायां तदा सोऽर्थः प्रकाशते । वक्तव्ये तु यदा वक्ता श्रोतारमवमन्यते
samameti vivakṣāyāṃ tadā so'rthaḥ prakāśate | vaktavye tu yadā vaktā śrotāramavamanyate
ഉദ്ദേശവും പ്രസ്താവനയും ഒരുപോലെ ചേരുമ്പോൾ അർത്ഥം സ്വയം പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ പറയേണ്ട സമയത്ത് വക്താവ് ശ്രോതാവിനെ അവമാനിച്ചാൽ,
