विनाशमागता पार्थ कनकानाम नामतः । ततो यतेंद्रियोऽप्येष गृहधर्मविनाशतः
vināśamāgatā pārtha kanakānāma nāmataḥ | tato yateṃdriyo'pyeṣa gṛhadharmavināśataḥ
ഹേ പാർഥാ! ‘കനകാനാമാ’ എന്ന നാമധേയമുള്ള അവൾ വിനാശം പ്രാപിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് ഗൃഹധർമ്മം തകർന്നതിനാൽ ഇന്ദ്രിയസംയമനമുള്ള ഈ പുരുഷനും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി।
