ततस्त्वेवं वर्ततोऽस्य नंदभद्रस्य धीमतः । एकोऽभूत्तयः कष्टाद्वार्धिके सोऽप्यनश्यत
tatastvevaṃ vartato'sya naṃdabhadrasya dhīmataḥ | eko'bhūttayaḥ kaṣṭādvārdhike so'pyanaśyata
പിന്നീട് ഇങ്ങനെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ബുദ്ധിമാനായ നന്ദഭദ്രന് ഒരു പുത്രൻ ജനിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ ദുരഭാഗ്യവശാൽ ആ ശിശുവും ബാല്യത്തിലേ തന്നെ നശിച്ചു.
