एवं तस्मादभिज्ञाय सत्यर्थशपथांश्चरेत् । वृथा हि शपथान्कुर्वन्प्रेत्य चेह विनश्यति
evaṃ tasmādabhijñāya satyarthaśapathāṃścaret | vṛthā hi śapathānkurvanpretya ceha vinaśyati
അതുകൊണ്ട് ഇത് അറിഞ്ഞ് സത്യാർത്ഥത്തിനായി മാത്രമേ ശപഥം ചെയ്യാവൂ; വ്യർത്ഥശപഥം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ഇഹലോകത്തും പരലോകത്തും നശിക്കുന്നു।
