पुंसामज्ञातदोषेण नानाकर्मवशेन च । यथा गिरिवराक्रांतः कश्चिद्दुःखेन तिष्ठति

puṃsāmajñātadoṣeṇa nānākarmavaśena ca | yathā girivarākrāṃtaḥ kaścidduḥkhena tiṣṭhati

സ്വന്തം ദോഷങ്ങൾ അറിയാത്തതുകൊണ്ടും പലവിധ കർമ്മങ്ങൾക്ക് വിധേയരായതുകൊണ്ടും, വലിയൊരു പർവ്വതത്തിനടിയിൽ പെട്ടവനെപ്പോലെ മനുഷ്യൻ ദുഃഖത്തിൽ കഴിയുന്നു.
