Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 66

त्वङ्मात्रसारनिःसारं कदलीसारसंनिभम् । ज्ञात्वैवं दोषवद्देहं यः प्राज्ञः शिथिलीभवेत्

tvaṅmātrasāraniḥsāraṃ kadalīsārasaṃnibham | jñātvaivaṃ doṣavaddehaṃ yaḥ prājñaḥ śithilībhavet

വാഴപ്പിണ്ടി പോലെ കാമ്പില്ലാത്തതും തൊലിപ്പുറം മാത്രമുള്ളതുമായ ഈ ശരീരം ദോഷങ്ങളുള്ളതാണെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് ജ്ഞാനിയായവൻ അതിനോടുള്ള ആസക്തി കുറയ്ക്കുന്നു.
