भावशुद्धिः परं शौचं प्रमाणं सर्वकर्मसु । अन्यथालिंग्यते कांता भावेन दुहिताऽन्यथा
bhāvaśuddhiḥ paraṃ śaucaṃ pramāṇaṃ sarvakarmasu | anyathāliṃgyate kāṃtā bhāvena duhitā'nyathā
ഭാവശുദ്ധിയേ പരമ ശൗചം; എല്ലാ കർമങ്ങളിലും അതാണ് യഥാർത്ഥ മാനദണ്ഡം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഭാവവിപര്യാസം മൂലം പ്രിയയെ മകളെന്നു കരുതി ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്യുകയും, മകളെ മറ്റൊരാളെന്നു തോന്നുകയും ചെയ്യും।
