മാണ്ടൂകി എന്നൊരു ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അദ്ദേഹം വേദങ്ങളിലും വേദാംഗങ്ങളിലും പാരംഗതനായിരുന്നു।
